Green Anti Inflammatory Smoothie

I’ve recently discovered green smoothies. I’d been searching for a good one as they are believed to be anti inflammatory and great for your skin. You see, I have a skin condition called Rosacea which causes the skin on your face to become red and inflamed. You can also develop tiny pimples and bumps.

As you imagine this can be very embarrassing and I feel very self conscience. After reading up about it I discovered that it has a lot to do with your diet.

I read that green smoothies can be of help to your skin so thought I would give it a try. I’ve adapted this smoothie to my taste and I really like it. Of course you can add other greens too if you like.

I’ve been having one nearly every day for the last few weeks now and it has helped a little. My case is pretty severe though so medication is needed as well but it has helped and I feel better for having it. It’s best to drink during the day but I have been having it during the day as well. If it’s too pulpy add a little water to make it more drinkable.

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into two glasses
